:::the last few:::

Here are some of our photos from Mount Rainer:

This week, we had 2 days in a row off together! Pretty amazing...we got sugared up at Flying Apron,

ate vegan Thai food, went to Zanadu (comic book shop) saw UP!, which was really really good (and sad, which we were unprepared for) and spent some quality time relaxing around the house, reading and watching Big Love. Yesterday we decided to walk down and take the ferry to Bainbridge Island for the day.

It was a perfect day and we discovered a wonderful little place, The Streamliner Cafe, where we had a delicious dinner before heading back to Seattle. I finally got to visit Churchmouse Yarn and Teas and get some new yarn for my stash. Once we got back to Seattle we happened upon a cute bar called the Library downtown and watched the Sounders beat the Portland Timbers! Then is was time to come home...we were beat.

The school year is over! I worked on my classroom all day today and it was a start. I hurried home for our Saturday tradition, grilling out and watching the Sounders! They tied, once again! We were lucky enough to go to the Wednesday night game with Topher's friend Steve as well. It was so much fun I lost my cell phone! (It's gone for good, so don't use that number until I can get a new one.) Topher is working hard and also doing his share of partying as well. Our garden is growing like crazy and we have been enjoying the veggies and herbs. I have Professional development all week next week and hope that after that I can seriously chill!
Here comes the Summer!

Lately...

We saw the Sounders play the Crew last Saturday, sat behind the goal and saw Jaqua make the goal that tied up the game. It was awesome and the best seats we've had so far. Le Toux, Nyassi and others were warming up right in front of us.

Becky and Esther also came up to visit. Esther is getting really big and is very wiggly and happy!

We have tickets for 2 SIFF films: Il Divo, That Evening Sun and an event; viewing the film The Bear with live music from No Age. We also have tickets for the The Storm's 1st home game on Sunday and we will be taking my mom to a Storm game when she visits in July.

I am off for 3 days, due to a planned visit from my stepdad. He wasn't feeling well and decided not to come, but I decided to still take the time off. It gives me a chance to catch up on all the things I don't have time to do when working. Topher took this weekend off and we plan on getting out of the city. I have 2 days to figure out where! I better hop to it!
